Where We Are
Kazungula is strategically located at the confluence of four national borders - Botswana, Namibia, Zambia & Zimbabwe - and is perched on the banks of the Zambezi River about 45-miles upriver of the Victoria Falls (one of the seven natural wonders of the world).
The base camp in Kazungula is being developed as the hub campus for LMC-Africa's (10) nations southern African outreach (Angola, Botswana, eSwatini [Swaziland], Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia & Zimbabwe)
The Kazungula Bridge spans the Zambezi River at Kazungula and was completed in August 2021. The road & rail bridge will connect Zambia to Botswana and Zimbabwe.
The $260-million dollar project was funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency and the African Development Bank. The bridge replaces the old ferry system, which was a major bottleneck for the truck traffic between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and South Africa.
